The endurance season is back with a bang, with ELMS for the 4hrs of Silverstone (today) and the 6hrs of the WEC tomorrow.
Slightly damp for WEC practise this morning, which dried up for the qualifying at lunchtime. Holy moly the LMP1s are impressive. cant wait to see them from the Maggotts and Becketts complex tomorrow. gonna be a fantastic race. I'll post up pictures tomorrow of the WEC Sunday, or maybe Monday (depending on time)
ELMS had qualifying and race today, so get to see the whole event in 1 day. For the US opponaughts, Tracy Krohn has brought his Ligier Judd over from TUSCC, and had a great team race up to 4th. The end of the race was a sprint between the two Gibsons (zyteks) and the new Oreca 05, which was absolutely enthralling to watch. If you've got 10 minutes, search out the end of the race. really exciting stuff with the three cars closing on each other at an impressive rate. High quality awesome racing - always good.

Another team to have come over from TUSCC to play in the world series. ESM in their last outing of their HPDs (03b ?).
ELMS - Qualifying and the Race into the evening sun:

First time a Z4 GTE has raced in europe. God lord did this sound amazing:
The 88 Porsche is doing double duty. This car (i think literally this exact car) is racing 4 hours on sat, and 6 hours on sun. Porsche build their cars tough
Roald Goethe, plays in gulf liviried cars and has just such an amazing collection. Google RofGo to see what toys he has to play with. hell of a garage
the new LMP3 class was out to play. The Nissan V8s in the back of these things also sounds awesome.

great shots! Radio Le Mans has the ELMS race posted already for those who want to listen. Looking forward to seeing the P1s run tomorrow for WEC.
Regarding ESM in the HPD, I wonder if they will get the new cars sorted prior to Le Mans. They are not performing as desired.

I believe they should have them from Spa onwards, I think they have ordered the ligiers but I may be wrong. Yeah the hpds did not seem to be performing brilliantly

There were 10 ferraris thay started, and only like 6 finished ha. I couldn't tell you if exactly this one crashed But many did.
